ONpaper: Writing workshop for grant applications

The workshop invites to consider proposal writing as a sharpening of project ideas and less as a necessary evil to get funding – which it undoubtedly is as well.

In this workshop, we will explain step by step how to turn a project idea into a successful proposal text. Participants will learn how to develop a narrative structure, how to formulate a concise description and how to write a clearly structured, convincing and informative project description. We will reveal tips and tricks on how to make your application stand out from the crowd and clarify common mistakes. At the end there will be time for your questions.

→ Guidance on the components of an application including a brief description and self-presentation.

→ Developing a meaningful structure

→ What does the jury look for when reading applications?

The online workshop aims to impart basic knowledge and works with input units, group discussions, small group tasks and collegial exchange.
