analogue system of monochords, objects and projectors. An audiovisual theatre of bodily processes

Documentary on the exhibtion from 22.–26.09.2021

Claudia Robles is a new media and sound artist working worldwide. Her work encompasses various aspects of visual and acoustic art, from audiovisual compositions of fixed media to performances and installations. Using biomedical signals, her artistic work is closely related to research. Claudia Robles-Angel has been artist-in-residence at several outstanding institutions such as ZKM Karlsruhe, KHM Cologne, ICST – Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technologies ZHdK Zurich and her work is not only shown at media and sound-based festivals and conferences, but also in group and solo exhibitions around the globe.

Hubert Steins is a sound artist and radio journalist. Since 1998 he has been working with spacerelated sound installations that refer to media-theoretical and phenomenological themes of auditory perception.

Polymer is a concert series by ON – Neue Musik Köln based on a call from IV e&k supported by the city Cologne and the Ministry for Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
